This policy explains how BISWAS London Ltd ("BISWAS LONDON", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit www.biswaslondon.com or buy from us. We are the data controller for the personal data we hold about you.
1. Data we collect
When you browse the site we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URL. When you buy, contact us, or subscribe to the newsletter we collect the details you provide — name, email address, delivery address, and order details. Payment is processed by our payment provider and we do not store full payment card details.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to fulfil orders, provide customer service, send transactional emails, respond to enquiries, send marketing emails where you have opted in, and to measure and improve the performance of the site and our advertising.
3. Meta Pixel and Conversions API
With your consent for Marketing cookies, BISWAS LONDON uses the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) for advertising measurement, retargeting, purchase optimisation, and performance analytics across Facebook and Instagram.
Customer activity data shared with Meta may include: product views, add-to-cart events, initiate-checkout events, purchase events, order value and currency, page URLs, browser and device data (including IP address and user agent), and hashed contact details such as email address where you have provided them. Contact details are hashed before transmission. Meta does not receive your payment card details.

4. Legal bases
We rely on contract (to process your orders), legitimate interests (to operate and secure the site, and to understand performance), consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing emails), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).
5. Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us operate the business — including our ecommerce platform, payment provider, shipping partners, email provider, and advertising and analytics partners such as Meta where you have consented. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep order records for as long as required by UK tax law and only as long as necessary for other purposes.
